MY NAME IS MAT

I spent a lot of my life trying to figure out what it was that I wanted to do with it. I have tried almost everything I could think of, but it never clicked in my head that I could do what I loved for a living. CREATING!

So that's why we are here. 

I am wanting to provide resources that are built on my life experiences, especially for those who are in the music world. I do this through writing and releasing my own original music as well as creating content on the Youtube Platform.

We Praise You (2023)

 

After a year hiatus, I stepped back into the recording world with my first release of 2023. We Praise You was originally written and recorded by Bethel Music. I have been leading this song on Sunday morning for over a year now and wanted to put my own spin on it! With pop-punk, Emo, and hard-rock influences, I believe this version is special in its own way!

Always (2021)

 

The only new song I released in 2021 was a song called "Always". Drawing musical inspiration from emo bands like My Chemical Romance and Emery; this song is one of reflection. With very worshipful lyrics, I tell my story of cancer in a way that puts God in a place of worship, even in my time of pain. 

Stars (2020)

 

I finished off the year 2020 by releasing the single "Stars". This song represents the first moments of deconstructing everything I was ever taught. In the end, I learned that it was all good and very much needed. 

New Winds (2020)

 

In August of 2020, I finished my second EP. I believe God is breathing a new wind into society and we have a chance to be a part of it.

IN/LIGHT EP (2020)

 

In March of 2020, I finished my first EP. It is my story but I believe it is your story as well. A journey of exploration and enlightenment of faith. This EP is for everyone!
